Lunar eclipse to Remember

In the land of Equestria, the city of Canterlot was just ending the day by having their Princess Celestia lower the sun and their Princess Luna raise the moon. Since it was the summer season, the moon was coming early and the sun was setting very slowly. "What an eventful day it was, wasn't it?" Princess Celestia asked. "It was, I was just hoping there wouldn't be too much haze around the ponies," Princess Luna answered.

 "At least haze is temporary than smog, but besides that, the ponies get to experience a lunar eclipse tonight," Celestia replied. "A lunar eclipse? What is this lunar eclipse?" Luna asked. "I know it's been thousands of years ago since you heard it dear sister but it's when the moon appears to darken as it passes into the earth's shadow," Celestia explained with a smile.

 "I think I remember something like that once when we were fillies," Luna recalled, "father would raise the moon one summer night after mother lowered the sun then it was slightly red." "Exactly, I also remembered that you once called it the blood moon," Celestia giggled. Luna slightly laughed too as she was feeling bashful about that memory her sister brought up.

"Now the citizens can remember that too before sleeping tonight without fearing the sun and the moon together at the same time," Luna added in. As
the two royal sisters headed inside their castle, the night princess saw an old portrait of herself and her sister standing next to each other, smiling with their parents who were named King Cosmos and Queen Galaxia (Their parents were the former rulers of Equestria and in charge of the sun and moon. But when the war began, the two sisters lost their parents and only had each other to look after).

  Princess Luna sighed as she gazed upon the portrait, upon before the war she was a very happy filly and wasn't as anti-social as she is now. Princess Celestia stopped walking and turned to her sister, she too misses her parents from all the busyness she had from ruling a kingdom. "Celestia, do you wonder what mother and father would think of us now if they were still with us?" Luna asked solemnly.
   
Princess Celestia nodded in response; "Yes I do, I think they would both be proud of us." "Even for what happened to me?" Luna asked. "Luna, they would still love you and no matter what happens they wouldn't hate us."
 "I suppose you're right... Tia," Luna smiled, hugging her older sister. The sun princess wrapped her wing around her younger sister and smiled warmly as she sheds a tear of happiness. "I love you Luna," Celestia whispered. "So do I," Luna answered back.
